Bios


Rayaz Khan—Drums
Rayaz has over 15 years of experience as a drummer/percussionist in a variety of musical settings. During his undergraduate studies at Molloy College, he performed in jazz, percussion, sinfonietta, and other assorted ensembles despite majoring in Philosophy. Since 2013, Rayaz has been freelancing throughout Long Island as a musical theatre pit orchestra musician, event percussionist, accompanist, and private instructor. He has performed in over 20 musical productions to date and is currently a primary musician at CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale, Long Island. He approaches performance with a mindset of thoughtful collaboration.

Aidan McGloneKeyboard, Saxophone, Flute

Abdulah AmerTrumpet
Abdulah has been playing trumpet for nearly 20 years. Trumpet was his concentration area at LaGuardia High School for fine and performing arts, which he attended from 2011-2015. Despite majoring in Physics at the City College of New York, Abdulah has remained an active trumpeter in a number of musical settings. Primarily, this has included jazz combos at such venues as Cellar Dog (formerly Fat Cat) in Manhattan, and at private events such as weddings.

Shiori ChazonoBass, Keyboard

Shiori Chazono is a bassist, pianist, composer, arranger, and teacher. 

Originally from Japan, she studied at the Tokyo College of Music, where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in composition. She received her B.M. from LIU Post in Music Performance and was a recipient of the Department of Music Awards for Service in Instrumental Music. She was awarded a Fellowship to the LIU Post Chamber Music Festival in 2014 and 2015 in recognition of her musical talents as a bassist, arranger, and teacher. She has been freelancing throughout Long Island as a musical theatre pit orchestra musician either on bass or keyboards.

In addition, she is an arranger for many types of music and has done many arrangements for chamber music associations, musical productions, and TV programs, including the LIU Post String Ensemble, New York Virtuosi/Kammermusik, and Waldorf School of Garden City.
